THREE-STEP
APPLICATION OF SEALFLEX MEMBRANE SYSTEM
|
|
STEP
1
Our
chemically treated fibermat is rolled onto the clean,
smooth concrete surface which is to be sealed. The fibermat
must be butted. Do not overlap.
|
|
STEP
2
The
base laminate coat is applied with a roller. It penetrates
the fibermat, creating a laminate bond.
The
Base Coat requires 2 to 3 hours of drying time. Actual
time may be more depending on the temperature, humidity
and air movement at the job site. Therefore, daily production
will vary according to the size and conditions of each
job. Generally, in a large open area, two men can apply
2300 sq ft of fibermat and Base Coat in an 8-hour day.

STEP
3
The finish sealer is also applied with a roller. Drying
time is approximately 2 hours, depending on conditions.
For 2300 sq ft, the Finish Coat will take approximately
2 hours for two men to apply. Finish Coat drying time
is approximately 2 hours, again, depending on the conditions
at the job site. If you can have outside air flow over
Sealflex 2000 Membrane System, it will dry faster.
