ALWAYS TEST THE AREA TO BE DONE FOR VAPOR EMISSION (ASTM F 1869-03) AND pH PRIOR TO INSTALLING ANY FLOORING MATERIAL. PROPERLY DOCUMENT ALL RESULTS AND PROCEDURES INCLUDING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 is a uniquely formulated, acrylic copolymer resin that has been developed to block the negative effects of alkaline on adhesives along with reducing low-level vapor emission.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 is a non-corrosive solution which is extremely safe to use.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 is compatible with all types of adhesives such as epoxies, polyurethanes and acrylics.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 has been developed to be applied between the substrate and the adhesive after all preparation work has been completed, including application of any quality cementitious compound (preferably acrylic based). Do not attempt to skim coat or patch after application of pH Blocker/Primer 100.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 when properly applied will provide an excellent bonding surface for most adhesives where dusty or porous conditions exist.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 is easy to apply. Simply roll the material on using a 1/4" nap roller over a porous substrate and allow the material to dry. Refer to installation procedures for details.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 dries quickly allowing for the installation process to continue without delay. Refer to installation procedures for details.
pH Blocker/Primer 100 has been used on millions of square feet of concrete to insure the success of flooring installations where high pH and vapor emission was a concern.
